Costa Brava. Up until the 1950s, the Costa Brava was part of a poor region. It was very peaceful and that, together with its landscape, food and culture, attracted European tourists. But a group of pioneers set up a local Tourist Board to promote the Costa Brava abroad. They sell sun, food and traditional song. The group presents its offerings in New York.
