Ceramic Kundika (or ritual ewer)
A Kundika or funerary vessel with a white glaze and bulbous body. It has a tall slender neck surmounted by a flange top with a tapering nozzle which is decorated with a series of horizontal bands. These types of vessels were likely used as part of a Buddhist water or cleansing ritual, whereby water was poured from the spout to clean hands or the body.
