Huge rocks from the prehistoric fortifications at Krissa. The settlement was founded in the Middle Helladic period and was fortified in the Mycenaean period, when the citizens of Kirra settled there.

On the east end of Amphissa, at the bottom of Kofinas hill, at the site Lykotrypa, was found a Mycenaean rock-cut tomb. The tomb has been excavated and is now protected with railings. In the tomb there is a stone larnax.
