Iberian oppidum and sanctuary of Torrebenzalá (Torredonjimeno, Jaén, Spain)
The Iberian oppidum of Torrebenzalá is located near the crossroad between the N-321 and the regional road 3219 in the municipality of Torredonjimeno (Jaén). It is set at the top of a large hill defined by the streams La Noria, Cárdenas and Los Villares, which grant it a privileged and strategic position for the control of the routes that connect the countryside with the Guadalquivir Valley.
