Railway bridge over the Waal repaired

The railway bridge over the Waal at Nijmegen was destroyed during the Second World War. The temporary single-track emergency span will be replaced by a new double-track arch bridge. SHOTS: - Workers, instructed by telephone by a central coordinator, roll the two spans, using large winches, millimetre by millimetre into their places on the piers.
