Posle cunamija u Indoneziji
2004. godine razorni cunami pogodio je region Jugoistočne Azije sa fatalnim posledicama po stanovnike čitavog regiona. Iako se najviše pričalo o cunamiju na Tajlandu, najpogođeniji deo je bio severni deo Sumatre - region Band Aceh.
