Special Olympics statue

Ireland hosted the Special Olympics in June 2003. Cities and towns across the country were matched as hosts for various national delegations. Cork city hosted athletes and delegates from Mexico.

This sculpture was donated and dedicated to the people of Cork.

It is located in the grounds of Saint Peter's Church on North Main Street in Cork city.
