Former Prime Minister Menachem Begin, has hardly been seen in public over the past seven years, Begin, now 76 years old, lives the life of a virtual recluse in his Jerusalem home, He is never interviewed by the media or photographed except at what has become an annual pilgrimage to the grave of his wife, Aliza, on the anniversary of her death, which occur seven years ago today.
What has become almost an annual media event, is the turn out by family and past colleagues of Menachem Begin as he makes his way towards the graveside of his wife in the Mount of 01ives cemetery in Jerusalem.
