Kranj – Statue of France Prešeren

On the Main Square between the Parish Church of St Cantianus and Prešeren Theatre, a 5-metre bronze statue of the greatest Slovenian poet was unveiled in 1952. It was the work of academic sculptors Frančišek Smerdu and Peter Loboda.
