Provenance

  • Journalist og forfatter Dagfinn Grønoset (f. 04.04.1920, d. 28.01.2008) var født i Trysil, men bodde store deler av livet i Elverum. Herfra reiste han ut i de store skogområdene inn mot svenskegrensen, hvor han møtte mennesker som bar på livshistorier preget av slit og hardt arbeid. Gjennom sitt forfatterskap og sin journalistgjerning gav Dagfinn Grønoset stemme til en generasjon som var i ferd med å forsvinne ut av vår tid og vår bevissthet, en generasjon som opplevde et samfunn fjernt fra etterkrigstidens overflodssamfunn. Fotoarkivet etter Dagfinn Grønoset utgjør en unik dokumentasjon av mennesker og steder han berørte gjennom sin karriere som journalist og forfatter. Arkivet forvaltes i dag av Glomdalsmuseet. En del er digitalisert, men arbeidet pågår fortsatt.
