Spitzenhaube und Kragen umschließen das Gesicht Maria Magdalena Bursys geb. Schulz nahezu vollständig. Die Frau des evangelischen Pastors Ernst Daniel Bursy stammt aus einer Pastorenfamilie aus Jelgava (Mitau, Lettland). Mit 20 Jahren heiratete sie Ernst. Das Paar hatte drei gemeinsame Kinder.
