Placa de cupru gravată în manieră acvaforte și acvatinta redă un desen expresiv, din perspectivă inversă. O pădure cu arbori înalți și cu coroane bogate, sunt dispuși de-o parte și de alta unei alei, ușor înclinați. Desenul este detaliat cu linii valorate, vibrate. Pe versoul plăcii acoperit total cu bitum se distinge, într-un desen simplu, chipul unui personaj. Placa nu este semnată sau datată.
