Un desen realist de linie, cu multiple zone de estompă și hașură, redă pe verticală un semiprofil stânga de tânăr muncitor. Bărbatul poartă pe cap o șapcă cu cozoroc iar pe frunte sunt sprijiniți ochelarii rotunzi de sudură.
