Bunul este un mangal cu design specific Dinastiei Mameluce. Piesele compun un mangal care nu prezintă toate părțile clasice: tablă, govde, ateslik și kapak. El este alcătuit din bază sau picior, corp sau vatră și capac. Vatra acționează și ca bol de cenușă. Forma generală a componentelor, după îmbinare, este cea de bulb.
