Lucrarea este construită pe verticală într-un desen precis, sculptural, de cărbune cu multă hașură, estompe și ștersături. Un chip feminin de sculptură antică este redat central, minuțios și delicat, dintr-un ușor semiprofil dreapta. Lucrarea este, după cum indică autorul, un desen după un gips.
