Stolberg Bungalow

I live in a house that was originally owned by one of the German Engineers, Herr Stolberg, who came to work for Siemens Schukerertwerke (electrical engineering) on the Ardnacrusha Power Station project.

The house was brought from Germany (flat packed) and re-erected for Herr Stolberg and his family within sight of the project on the River Shannon, at Blackwater which is just outside Ardnacrusha…
