Egyptian Head in Basalt, TB 003

The lower half of a small head carved in basalt shows individual features suggesting a portrait. The top and back of the head have been completely removed. The left eye, except its lower frame and both ears are missing. The features are soft and rounded with quite a large round tipped nose and closed lips.
