This film opens with snowy scenes of the family home and garden in Surrey. Daffodils have bloomed but are covered in snow. Indoors a woman holds a young baby, which is followed by a shot of a toddler sat in a swing, hanging from a doorway. The film also shows the family on holiday in regions across Cornwall, Kent and Dorset.
