A car for a carp

Weeknummer 67-42

People take part in a week long fishing competition on 1000 released numbered carp in the Singelgracht in Deventer. Controllers check the carp. With the numbers people can take part in a lottery in aid of the 100-year old Red Cross. Prizes include fishing rods, gas cookers, refrigerators and a sofa. Mr. Sluiter from Zevenaar wins the first prize, a car worth 9000 guilders.
